Dear 16-year-old Hannah,
We just got back from a little holiday in Cologne, Germany. Germany means so much to us and I couldn’t help but to think about the last time we were here. You were so young; I was so young. Everything took our breath away and we looked at the world with awe and wonder. Four years ago a spark was lit inside us. It has taken us on a adventure we never saw coming and it has been wonderful every step of the way.
I remembered you the entire time I was away. When I was nervous about navigating my way through the train station or in awe of the Christmas markets or when I sat by myself eating lunch in a restaurant, I remembered you.
